TOYOTA HiACE
The Toyota HiAce is a light commercial vehicle manufactured by the Japanese manufacturer Toyota. TOYOTA HiACE GENERATIONS
FIRST GENERATION (H10; 1967)
Manufacturers produced it between October 1967 and January 1977. Toyota built this generation with the model code H10. Toyota offered the HiAce in two-door pickup and four- or five-door van body designs with a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive configuration. It shared similarities with the Toyota ToyoAce and provided a variety of engine options with 4-speed manual transmission.
SECOND GENERATION (H11/H20/H30/H40; 1977)
Also known as the Toyota Commuter, was produced from February 1977 to November 1982 for the van and until May 1985 for the truck. It provided a variety of body designs, including 2- and 4-door pickups and 3- and 4-door vans. The HiAce had a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout with four-wheel drive as an option and was related to the Toyota ToyoAce.
THIRD GENERATION (H50/H60/H70/H80/H90; 1982)
Also called the Toyota Commuter, came in a variety of body types: a two-door pickup and a three- or four-door van. It had a front-engine layout with options for rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive and was related to the Toyota ToyoAce.
FOURTH GENERATION (H100; 1989)
Manufacturers produced this generation from August 1989 to August 2004.It came in a variety of body types: three, four, and five-door vans, and featured a front-engine layout. It allowed for driving with either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. Furthermore, it has a tie with the Toyota HiMedic
FIFTH GENERATION (H200; 2004)
Body types include three, four, and five-door vans and minibuses. It has a front-engine layout and options for rear- or four-wheel drive. Related models include the Toyota HiMedic. It provides three transmission options: a 5-speed manual, a 4-speed automatic, and a 6-speed automatic.
SIXTH GENERATION (H300; 2019)
Takuo Ishikawa designed this generation, which includes 4- and 5-door vans as well as minibus body types. It uses a front-engine layout with rear-wheel drive. The HiAce has a range of engine options: two petrol engines and a diesel engine. It also offers three transmission options: a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed RC60J manual, and a 6-speed AC60 automatic.
