The Tesla Model Y was presented in March 2019 as the company’s fifth production model after the Roadster, Model S, Model X, and Model 3. In January, the model began production at the Fremont Factory in California, United States. The model is based on the Model 3 sedan, sharing around 76 percent of their parts.

Charging The Tesla Model Y: The model comes with a three-pin charging cable and a Type 2 cable capable of charging at a rate of 11 kW. The dual-motor version of the model charges for 8 hours and 27 minutes on an 11 kW charger and 27 minutes on a 250 kW ultra-rapid charger.

The Tesla Model Y is a very safe car, earning a rating of five stars out of five in Euro NCAP safety tests. The score for adult occupant protection was 97%, with an 87% score for child occupant protection. - Tesla Model Y has lane-keeping assistance that warns you when you drift out of your lane; it nudges the steering wheel to get you back in line.
